Deb Wiley Horner is an experienced educator with a focus on special education and interventions. Currently serving as an Intervention Specialist at Education Alternatives since August 2018, Deb has transitioned from working with students in a facility setting to engaging with students and families long-term to facilitate successes and address challenges. Deb has held various positions, including Special Educator with Portage County since July 2008, and has volunteered with First Book from 2009 to 2011. Previous roles include Special Educator positions at Perry County ESC and Montgomery Town Schools, alongside administrative experience at the Office Team division of Robert Half International. Prior to embarking on a career in education, Deb worked as an International Specialist at Parker Hannifin, handling global freight logistics. Deb holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Hiram College.
