Nelson Ferrett

Nelson Ferrett has extensive work experience in various roles within the education and marketing industries.

Starting in 2004, they worked at Cambridge International College as a Regional Marketing Manager in Taiwan, where they focused on raising college brand awareness, identifying collaboration opportunities with local universities, and networking with education agents. Nelson also served as a Marketing Officer and Student Services in Melbourne, handling student inquiries and applications, organizing overseas seminars, and liaising with education agents.

In 2009, Nelson worked as a Business English Instructor at Inlingua, teaching Business English to managers at multinational companies, developing and delivering lesson plans for ESL students, and assisting students with their university applications in Australia.

From 2010 to 2011, they were the Business Development Manager for Cambridge Western Academy in the UK, overseeing the startup of a new higher education college. Nelson liaised with awarding bodies and the UK Border Agency to obtain licenses and was responsible for hiring administrative and teaching staff.

In 2011, Nelson joined EduCo International Group as the Regional Marketing Manager for China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Nelson investigated local market opportunities, prepared business plans, and advised board directors on the best strategies to penetrate the Chinese market. Additionally, they developed and implemented marketing strategies, including social media, to attract Chinese students to EduCo's colleges worldwide.

Moving to Blue Studies International Chile in 2016, Nelson served as the Director for five years, until 2021.

In 2022, they worked as the Trade Marketing Coordinator at Tennis Queensland, and in 2023, they joined the Education Centre of Australia as the Head of International Student Recruitment in Brisbane.

Nelson Ferrett has a diverse background in education, marketing, and management, with a focus on international student recruitment, business development, brand awareness, and market analysis.

Nelson Ferrett completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2020 to 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Business degree with a specialization in Management from Monash University, which they pursued from 2001 to 2004.
