Erin Ficker

Erin Ficker has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Erin started their career as the Planning Team Coordinator/Program Assistant at Building Changes from an unspecified date until 2003. Erin then worked as a Policy Intern at the National Alliance to End Homelessness in 2004. Erin served as the Coordinator of Research Programs at the Center for Prevention Research and Development, University of Illinois from October 2005 to November 2009. Erin later joined Prevention First as a Provider Resource Specialist from November 2009 to January 2012, where they developed web-based trainings and maintained relationships with various stakeholders.

Erin then joined EDC (Education Development Center) in February 2012 as a T/TA Specialist II, CAPT Central Resource Team. Erin implemented a plan to rollout the newly revised Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) curriculum and collaborated with clients to meet their workforce development needs. In December 2013, Erin was promoted to the role of Associate Project Director at EDC, where they became an accomplished trainer and T/TA provider in substance abuse prevention.

Most recently, Erin is serving as the Project Director at EDC, a role they started in January 2022. Further details regarding this role are not provided.

Erin Ficker obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College in 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Affairs degree in Public Administration from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, which they completed in 2005.
