Heather Lavigne

Heather Lavigne is a highly experienced professional in the field of research and education, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at the Education Development Center since November 2013. Lavigne's expertise encompasses directing program strategy, research design, and overseeing a portfolio of nearly 20 applied research and evaluation studies. Previously, Lavigne has held various roles, including Methodologist at the STEM Education Evaluation Center and Adjunct Professor at Springfield College, where instruction focused on human development courses. Lavigne’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Psychology/Developmental Science and multiple degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Harvard Graduate School of Education.
