Jessica Bailey, Ph.D., serves as a Senior Research Scientist at the Education Development Center (EDC) since February 2014, specializing in designing and leading applied research, including quasi-experiments and quantitative and qualitative evaluations, across various areas such as work-based learning, personalized learning, and policy implementation. Prior to EDC, Jessica was an Assessment Specialist at the Rhode Island Department of Education from June 2011 to February 2014, where management and support of Race to the Top initiatives were key responsibilities, focusing on interim assessments and educator evaluations. Jessica's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Education from Boston College, where a role as a Graduate Research Assistant involved statistical analyses of student data, and dual B.A. degrees from Brown University in Education: History & Policy and Sociology.
