Aneesha Badrinarayan

Aneesha Badrinarayan is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in science education, assessment, and program development. Currently serving as Principal at Education First Consulting since September 2024, Aneesha previously held leadership roles including Director of State Performance Assessment Initiatives and Senior Advisor at the Learning Policy Institute from January 2020 to December 2024. Aneesha's tenure at Achieve, Inc. from June 2014 to January 2020 encompassed various roles focused on alignment with the Next Generation Science Standards, while earlier positions included Outreach Program Manager at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Science Education Consultant. Aneesha began an academic career as a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, delivering comprehensive research and teaching programs, and holds a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Cornell University.
