Abbie Jessop

Abbie Jessop is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in community engagement and event management. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Education People since April 2023, Abbie previously held the role of Head of Events at Rest Less UK, where responsibilities included managing the transition of the events program from Mirthy to a broader community platform. At Mirthy, Abbie excelled as Community and Events Manager, enhancing social connections for individuals over 60 and securing recognition in the £1M Tech To Connect Challenge. Abbie's earlier experiences at the University of Bristol Students' Union and various barista roles at The Royal George Inn and Boston College have further developed leadership, presentation, and customer service skills. Abbie holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts from the University of Bristol and has also completed a diploma in acting.
