Susanne Staples

Susanne Staples has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Susanne currently works as a German Content Writer for Education Perfect since December 2021. Prior to this, they were a Languages and Music Teacher at a Secondary School from January 2012 to December 2021. Susanne also served as an NCEA Scholarship Panel leader at NZQA from November 2016 to January 2017. Furthermore, they worked as a Violin Teacher at Out of School Music (OSM) from September 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, they were a NCEA Level 2 German Quality Checker at NZQA from March 2015 to May 2015. Before that, they worked as a Music Teacher for Pre-school kids from March 2009 to December 2011. Susanne began their career as an Administrative Assistant at MTM Technologies from February 2006 to October 2008.

Susanne Staples has a diverse education history spanning from the year 2000 to the present. Susanne began their studies at Technische Universität Dresden from 2000 to 2008, where they obtained a Teaching Degree with a field of study in Russian Language. During this time, they also attended Hochschule fuer Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, where they earned a Master's equivalent degree in Music Teacher Education.

In 2010, Susanne enrolled in the University of Canterbury and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa simultaneously. At the University of Canterbury, they pursued a Diploma of Education with a specialization in Music and Languages. At Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, they completed the Mauri Ora Level 1-2 program.

Continuing their education in New Zealand, Susanne attended Te Wānanga o Aotearoa again from 2011 to 2012. This time, they pursued the Susanne Papa Tikanga Level 3-4 degree.

In 2013 and 2014, Susanne studied at Southern Institute of Technology and completed the Te Ara Reo Māori Level 3-4 program in 2015. Susanne also attended Southern Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2014 and obtained a Te Aara Reo Māori Level 1-2 degree.

Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, Susanne enrolled at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa once again and is currently pursuing the Susanne Tikanga Whakaaro Level 3-4 degree.

In addition to their formal education, Susanne briefly studied Music Performance, General at Dostoevsky Omsk State University in 2003.
