Chris Conway

Chris Conway has been the President/CEO of Educational Systems Federal Credit Union since 2007. Prior to this, he was the Credit Union's Chief Operating Officer. Chris began his credit union career at Montgomery County Teachers FCU where he held various management positions in branches, lending, information systems, compliance, electronic services and finance.

Chris is passionate about serving the education community and credit unions. Chris is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Credit Union Foundation of MD & DC, and he represents credit unions on the Community Depository Institution Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Chris previously served as President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Education Credit Union Council. He also served on the Board of Directors of the MD|DC Credit Union Association where he held various leadership positions including Treasurer, Vice Chair, and Suburban Chapter President. Chris has previously represented credit unions on the Maryland State Department of Education's Financial Literacy Education Advisory Council.

Chris was recognized for his outstanding professional excellence with the MD|DC Credit Union Association's Judith A. Burgin Memorial Professional of the Year Award in 2011, and again in 2015. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Frostburg State University.
