Nicole Muscanell

Nicole Muscanell is a seasoned researcher with substantial experience in leading complex information technology research projects at EDUCAUSE since June 2022. Prior to this role, Nicole served as a Research Analyst at JHT Incorporated, focusing on projects for the Department of Defense. An academic background includes a tenure as an Assistant Professor at Penn State University, where Nicole established a research agenda and published scholarly work, and a postdoctoral position at the Leibniz Institute für Wissensmedien in Germany. Nicole's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from The University of Alabama, along with additional degrees and certifications in psychology and data analytics.
