Hanna Jaramillo serves as the Associate Director of Teaching and Learning for Science at the National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE) since April 2023, leading the science team in developing high-quality, research-based instructional materials that promote future-ready learners. Prior to this role, Jaramillo was the K-12 Science Teaching and Learning Specialist for the Lake Washington School District, where responsibilities included creating sustainable and equitable science curricula and professional development for educators. Experience includes teaching various science courses across multiple school districts and co-presenting at statewide professional learning sessions focused on the Next Generation Science Standards. Jaramillo holds a Master of Science in Education from California State University, East Bay, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from California State University, Chico.
