Carolin Eibl has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Carolin began their career in 2006 with an internship in marketing at Döhler and followed it with an internship in copywriting and graphic design at Cg Kommunikationsdesign. In 2010, they worked as an assistant at EMD - Affiliates of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.

In 2012, Carolin had a student internship at IGBCE Munich. Carolin then joined Pro7 Games in 2013 as a game tester and coordinator.

Carolin's freelance career started in 2013, where they worked independently as a freelancer under their own name, Carolin Schottenheimer, until 2022.

In 2019, they joined UX3D GmbH as a 3D Motion Artist and worked until 2022. From there, they transitioned to Schottenheimer, freelancing again until July 2022.

Most recently, Carolin worked as a Technical Artist at Edurino from July 2022. In 2023, they transitioned to being a freelancer again and continues to work independently.

Carolin Eibl has a diverse education history. In 2004, they obtained their Hochschulreife / entrance requirement for higher education in Gestaltung/ Design from Gutenberg-Schule Frankfurt. In the following years, they pursued additional education and gained professional experience. From 2006 to 2007, Eibl attended a&a communications where they obtained an EQJ Media Design degree. Carolin then worked at Merck KgaA as a Specialist clerk for office communication from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, Eibl enrolled at Media Design Hochschule, München, although no specific degree or field of study is provided. Finally, from 2015 to 2016, they attended Technische Hochschule Augsburg where they acquired a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Interaktive Medien.
