David Oppenberg has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. David started their career as a Co-Founder and Game Designer at Through Games, where they contributed to the development of FRU, an award-winning Xbox One game. As a Game Designer, David was responsible for core game mechanics, interaction patterns, and utilizing the Kinect technology. After working at Through Games for over three years, David joined Pointvoucher as a Level Designer. In this role, they designed levels for the Match-3 game "PlayLondon with Mr Bean" and played a crucial role in the game's progression curve and competitor research. David then moved on to Klang Games as a Game Designer, where they worked for three years before joining their current position as a Senior Game Designer at Edurino.

David Oppenberg obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in International Game Architecture and Design from Breda University of Applied Sciences. David attended this institution from 2012 to 2016. Following this, David pursued a Master of Science degree in IT and Cognition from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. David completed their master's program between 2017 and 2019.
