Joseph Meng is Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Development. Mr. Meng has been with EJME since 2004. He is currently responsible for all activities related to new acquisitions and for predevelopment activities related to current development and re-positioning projects. Throughout his time at EJME, Mr. Meng has been involved in various aspects business including deal sourcing, underwriting, structuring, financing, predevelopment, development and certain asset management activities. Deals Mr. Meng has worked on include the acquisition and development of 51 Astor Place, 101 Warren Street/270 Greenwich Street/89 Murray Street, 37 East 12th Street and 17 Jane Street; restructuring and repositioning of 101 Avenue of the Americas; and the acquisition and repositioning of the Bluffs at Playa Vista.
Prior to joining EJME, Joe worked at the architecture firms of Swanke Hayden Connell and Kohn Pederson Fox. Mr. Meng holds a Masters of Real Estate Development from Columbia University, Masters in Architecture from University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Buffalo.
