Belinda Carrillo

Belinda Carrillo, PhD, currently serves as an Applied Statistical Analyst at Edward Jones since September 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Quantitative UX Researcher at Instagram, where impactful research aimed at enhancing user experience for Instagram Reels was conducted. As a Doctoral Student at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2017 to August 2022, Belinda led multiple projects in the Self, Identity, and Relationships Lab, focusing on interpersonal conflict and the effects of sleep deprivation on prosocial behavior. Additionally, Belinda instructed various psychology courses and managed lab operations in the Emotion, Health, and Psychophysiology Lab at UCSF, contributing to studies on romantic couples' daily experiences and physiological measures. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Psychology from UC Berkeley and a BA in Psychology from Whittier College.
