Jon Williamson

General Partner & Principal, Human Resources at Edward Jones

Jon Williamson has over 20 years of experience in human resources, working in various leadership roles for multiple companies. From 1998 to 2003, they worked at SGL Carbon, starting as a Human Resources Manager and later becoming the Manager of Corporate Management Development. In 2003, they joined House of Blues as a Senior Manager in the Home Office Human Resources team, where they were responsible for talent management and compensation. In 2005, Jon moved to General Electric as the Organization & Staffing Leader, leading talent management and organizational effectiveness initiatives for the GE Capital portfolio businesses. In 2007, they joined Johnson & Johnson, starting as the Director of Worldwide Human Resources and later serving as the Vice President of Human Resources for various divisions, including Pharmaceuticals, Global Research & Development, and North America. Jon'sroles included overseeing HR service delivery, talent management, and organizational transformation. Jon's most recent position is with Edward Jones, where they serve as a General Partner & Principal, Human Resources.

Jon Williamson completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School in 2011. Before that, they pursued an MBA in International Business at Henley Business School. Jon gained their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology & Organizational Behavior from Loyola Marymount University.
