Hassan Javeed

Hassan Javeed is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data pipeline development and software architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at edX since August 2015, Hassan built advanced data pipelines on AWS using Snowflake, dbt, and Python, while also maintaining ETL processes with Hadoop/EMR. Previous roles include Software Architect at Arbisoft and Software Engineer at Wego.com, where Hassan led the development of a data processing pipeline utilizing Kafka, AWS, and BigQuery. Earlier positions include Applications Engineer at Edenpod, Principal Software Engineer at Third Window, Software Development Lead at MWM Ventures, and Senior Software Engineer at AboutUs, with initial experience as an intern at SENSYS. Hassan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
