Marcos Pelenur

Marcos Pelenur is currently the Chief Executive at EECA, leading the organization towards clean and clever energy use in New Zealand. Prior to this role, Marcos held positions such as Head of Sustainability and Decarbonization at The Behavioural Insights Team, Group Manager at EECA, and various policy advisor roles at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Marcos has a strong background in energy markets, sustainability, and policy development, with a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
