Jakob Heslinga

Jakob Heslinga is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades in electrical engineering and commissioning. Currently serving at Eekels Technology B.V. since January 2002, Jakob has held roles including Tekeningen controle and assistant young Engineers, as well as Commissioning Engineer for various sea-going vessels, including cargo, tankers, and supply vessels. From October 2020 to February 2023, Jakob was the Team Leader of the Test Department, focusing on the testing and commissioning of switchboards and distribution boards. Prior experience includes work as an Electrical Engineer and foreman at Trelleborg, where Jakob maintained DC electrical motors and managed high voltage distribution installations, and previously led a team at Wiltjer Elektrotechniek for electrical installations in an ink factory. Educational qualifications include an Engineer's degree in Electromechanical Technology and an Electrical Technician degree obtained through evening school.
