Kate McNamara-Marsland is currently serving as a Legal Intern at the EEOC in the Office of the Chair, having begun this role in September 2024. Previously, Kate interned with the U.S. Department of Justice's Employment Litigation Section, where assistance was provided in investigations and litigation under Title VII. From July 2022 to August 2023, Kate worked as a Program Associate and Weil Legal Innovator at the National Women's Law Center, selected for a program focused on public service and justice. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and various internships in communications and external relations. Kate holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, expected in May 2026, and a double major in Political Science and Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, completed in 2022.
