Kevin Richardson currently serves as the Chief Human Capital Officer at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) since June 2018. Prior to this role, Kevin had a distinguished career in the U.S. Coast Guard, retiring as a Commander in September 2020, where responsibilities included serving as an Unrestricted Line Officer involved in various operational and personnel management assignments, including with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Kevin's federal experience also includes positions at the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service as Associate Deputy Administrator, and at the Agricultural Marketing Service in various roles, including Director of Performance and Administration. Earlier in the career, Kevin served in the Executive Office of the President and the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, focusing on human capital planning and policy. Kevin holds a Master of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Salem University.
