Dan Bacarin

Dan Bacarin, CFA has a diverse and extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Dan is currently employed as the Vice President of Finance & Accounting at EF Education First, starting in January 2024. Prior to this, they worked at The Adecco Group as the Group Vice President of Finance & Sales Operations from September 2019 to December 2023. Dan also served as the Head of Strategic Planning in the same company from August 2018 to August 2019. Previously, they worked at SWAROVSKI as the Senior Controlling Manager for Global Financial Planning from January 2018 to July 2018. Before that, Dan held multiple positions at Procter & Gamble, including Finance Group Manager / Finance Controller for South East Europe from August 2016 to September 2017, Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for Health & Grooming Europe from November 2014 to July 2016, Senior Financial Analyst / Business Partner for Shave Care in Europe from June 2012 to October 2014, and various roles as a Financial Analyst for Baby Care, Grooming, and Duracell in the Balkans from September 2009 to May 2012.

Dan Bacarin, CFA holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking from Academia de Studii Economice din București, obtained in 2009, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universitatea Româno-Americană din București, obtained in 2011. In 2015, they earned a degree as a Chartered Global Management Accountant from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, specializing in Accounting and Business/Management. Furthermore, in 2019, Dan obtained the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute. Dan also completed the Mastering Sales: A Toolkit for Success program at Kellogg Executive Education in 2022. Additionally, Dan holds an ACMA - Associate Chartered Management Accountant certification from CIMA, which they acquired in 2015.
