Lauren West

Lauren West has extensive work experience in the education industry, primarily with EF Education First. Lauren started in 2005 as a Senior Tour Consultant, identifying and selling to prospects in their territory. Lauren then moved into a role as a Regional Sales Manager, where they managed sales and staff for an assigned territory. In 2009, they became a Regional Sales Director, responsible for growth and market share in their territory and overseeing a team of sales associates.

In 2013, Lauren transitioned to a Director role, first leading the creation of international professional learning programs for educators and then overseeing a team of project managers focused on understanding market needs and creating products and resources to meet those needs. Lauren also managed strategic partnerships and collaborated with sales teams.

In 2018, Lauren became the Director of Customer Engagement & Loyalty at EF Educational Tours, leading a team focused on deepening customer engagement and loyalty. Lauren translated business priorities into a holistic customer strategy and informed decision making to enhance the customer journey.

Currently, as of 2021, Lauren is the Vice President of EF Gap Year | EF Study Abroad at EF Education First, providing leadership and direction for a cross-functional team responsible for executing strategic initiatives for EF's newest products.

Lauren West completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Relations at the University of Rhode Island from 2000 to 2004.
