Marla Kaplan

Marla Kaplan has extensive work experience in the finance and strategy field. Marla is currently the Executive Vice President of Finance & Strategy at EF Go Ahead Tours since August 2021. Prior to that, Marla worked at Go Ahead Tours for four years as the Vice President of Finance and Strategy.

Before joining Go Ahead Tours, Marla held various roles at EF Education First, including Vice President of Customer Experience, Executive Vice President of Recruitment and Development, Director of Relationship Marketing, and Special Projects Director for Go Ahead Tours. Marla started their career at Bain & Company as a Consultant and later became a Case Team Leader, where they advised companies on strategic issues and managed consultant teams.

Marla also has experience in the tourism industry, working at Endeavor and Alltournative in strategy and marketing roles. Additionally, they worked as the Managing Editor at Let's Go Travel Guides, leading the editorial redesign and updating content for guidebooks.

Marla Kaplan began their education at Newton North, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Following that, they enrolled in Harvard University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on the History and Literature of Latin America. Several years later, from 2007 to 2009, Marla Kaplan pursued their Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.
