Tony Lamport manages the Lambda venture capital funds, established in 1979. He founded the venture capital activities at Drexel Burnham Lambert, which formed the basis of the Lambda Funds. The funds have made 25 investments in the medical field, including AthenaHealth, offering cloud-based software for doctor office; Medidata Solutions, offering software for managing clinical trials over the Internet; Health Dialog, a health coach for members of medical plans; SeniorBridge, offering in home managed care for the elderly; Helius, offering treatment for Multiple Sclerosis; T3D, in stage II trial of a drug for Alzheimer’s and Elucida, developing a nano-based platform for enhancing drug delivery. He has served as a director of 20 companies, 5 of which were publicly held. Tony graduated from Harvard College with a major in mathematics and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
