Corlia van Tonder

Corlia van Tonder has a strong background in marketing and design, with experience in various leadership roles. Corlia is currently working as an Online Marketing Specialist at EFFECT Photonics, starting in July 2022. Previously, they worked at PluginMatter from April 2016 to June 2022, where they single-handedly set up the South Africa branch and managed remote creative teams. Corlia led these teams through the process of developing visual messages and ensured compliance with brand specifications. Before that, they were the Head of the Design Department at Graffiti Designs from March 2010 to March 2016, where they led national design teams and implemented an in-house billing system that increased the department's annual GDP by 20%.

Corlia van Tonder completed a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design at Durban University of Technology from 2004 to 2008. Corlia further pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at the same institution in 2009.
