Ritesh Arora has a wealth of work experience. Ritesh began their career in 2006 as an Intern at COLT Technology Services India Pvt. Limited, where they designed and delivered a complete workflow process for version management and installation guides for a new change management application. In 2008, they joined Infosys Technology Limited, Pune as a Systems Engineer. During their time there, they were promoted to Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the Product team and successfully managed to create, test, and deploy 4 patches in the initial 2 months after training. In 2010, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Missouri S&T, where they worked with their advisor on a project involving random variable technique to derive principle equations for moment generating functions. In 2012, they joined Inkiru as a Data Scientist, where they built MapReduce services on top of MongoDB and wrote a data consistency and data extraction tool. In 2013, they moved to Walmart eCommerce as a Data Scientist, where they were part of the Inkiru Data Science team and helped reduce fraud rates by 75-80%. In 2016, they became Head of Data Science/Chief Data Scientist at Simility, A PayPal Service, where they were responsible for roadmap planning and execution with demonstrable results. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Enterprise Data Science and Analytics at PayPal. In 2020, they became an Advisor at Motocho. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded EffectivAI, a productivity-first fraud prevention platform with a focus on human/AI interaction.

Ritesh Arora obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, and Statistics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology between 2010 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from the Y.M.C.A. Institute of Engineering between 2003 and 2007. In January 2020, they also obtained a certification in Leading and Managing Globally from the Yale School of Management.
