Lisette Schuilwerve has a diverse work experience history. Lisette started their career as a Paralegal at De Loos & Schrijver Advocaten in July 2010, where they worked until May 2011. Following that, they joined Stibbe as a Legal Assistant from May 2011 to May 2012. Lisette then progressed to become a Lawyer at Stibbe, where they worked from June 2012 to September 2015.

In September 2015, Lisette started working at Rockstart as a Legal Counsel. Lisette'srole involved providing legal advice and assistance to Rockstart and its startup portfolio companies. Lisette was responsible for various legal matters, including transaction management, startup financing, due diligence, and commercial contract negotiations. Lisette Schuilwerve has a diverse educational background. In 2000, they attended Norbertus College, where they obtained their VWO diploma with a focus on Cultuur & Maatschappij. Following this, they enrolled at Leiden University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned their Bachelor's degree (LLB) in Civil Law. Lisette continued their education at Leiden University, from 2010 to 2012, obtaining their Master of Laws (LLM) in Civil Law. In 2012, they further specialized in Dutch Law by pursuing the Beroepsopleiding Advocaten offered by the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten (Dutch Bar Association). During the same period, they also attended The Law Firm School, acquiring their BO/VSO degree. Lisette then briefly attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2018, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions and obtaining a Post Graduate Degree. In 2019, they pursued Graphic Design at Art and the City.
