Sophie M.

Sophie M. has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Sophie currently works at Effectory as a Senior People Strategy Consultant since November 2020. Prior to that, they took a sabbatical in 2019, where they focused on personal development, professional coaching, and volunteering. During this time, they completed various training programs and volunteered in different organizations, including supporting Covid-19 relief efforts.

Before their sabbatical, Sophie worked at IBM from 2014 to 2019, where they held multiple positions. Sophie started as a Research Consultant in IBM Workforce Science & Analytics in August 2014 and then became a Consultant in the same department in August 2015. In August 2016, they transitioned to the role of Senior Consultant in IBM Talent Management Solutions, where they led projects related to survey, assessment, leadership development, and organizational change for global clients across various industries.

Prior to their time at IBM, Sophie worked as a Smarter Workforce Project Manager at Kenexa, an IBM Company, from June to December 2013. Sophie also gained experience as a Management Control Intern at Grupo Bensaude from June to September 2011.

Overall, Sophie has a strong background in people strategy, consulting, coaching, and project management, having worked with diverse clients and industries throughout their career.

Sophie M. received their Bachelor in Business Administration with a specialization in International Management from ESSEC Business School. Sophie also participated in an exchange program at Bayes Business School, where they studied Business Administration and Management for six months. Additionally, they took part in an exchange program at UADE. Sophie M. completed their secondary education at Lycée Français Charles Lepierre, where they obtained their Baccalauréat with a focus on Economics.

In terms of certifications, Sophie M. obtained several certifications from IBM, including Agile Explorer, Human Resources in a Cognitive Era - Solutions, Disruptive HR in a Cognitive Era - Essentials, Blue Core Coach, Cognitive Practitioner, and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner. Sophie also received the Introduction to counselling and psychotherapy degree in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from The Tavistock and Portman Foundation NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, Sophie M. holds certifications as a PADI Open Water Diver and a Diplôme Baccalauréat from Education Nationale.
