Alison Bruton

Alison Bruton currently serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Natural & Applied Science at Evangel University, a position held since July 2024. Previously, Alison held multiple roles, including Procurement and Capital Projects Manager and Purchasing Agent for the Effingham County, GA Board of Commissioners since January 2020. Alison also served as Interim City Manager and City Clerk/WaterWorks Clerk for the City of Guyton from April 2016 to November 2019, and worked as a childcare provider at Effingham YMCA from May 2013 to May 2016. Additionally, Alison directed Children's Ministries at Islands Community Church from August 2014 to February 2015 and worked as a Staffing Coordinator at StaffCo. from August 2010 to March 2011. Educational background includes attendance at Georgia Southern University from 2006 to 2008 and graduation from Savannah Arts Academy in 2006.
