Torian A. White

High School Principal at EFFINGHAM COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Torian A. White, Ph.D., currently serves as the High School Principal at Effingham County School District since July 2019. In addition, Torian is a General Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and an Adjunct Faculty member at Georgia Southern University, where responsibilities include leadership, technology, and human development courses. Prior to the current role, Torian held the position of Middle School Principal at Bulloch County School District from July 2014 to June 2019 and served in various administrative and instructional roles at Rockdale County Public Schools between July 2003 and June 2014. Torian earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University, a Master of Education (MEd) in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd) in Mathematics Education from UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education.
