Muhammad Amin Hashim has had a varied work experience. In 2012, they were an Engineer Internship at IC Microsystems, where they were involved in CMOS digital design and Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide (CIGS) thin film solar panel design. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where they designed and developed Biomedical Devices such as hearing protection equipment and arrhythmia detection system on embedded systems, and created tutorials and teaching materials for hardware and software design and compilation embedded systems, especially on FPGA technology. From 2016 to 2020, they were an IP Logic Design Engineer at Intel Corporation. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Hardware Design Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Currently, they are a System Solution Engineer at Efinix, Inc., where they are involved in system level RTL design, Risc-V SW HW co-design, and Machine Learning on embedded systems.
Muhammad Amin Hashim obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia between 2014 and 2016, a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia between 2009 and 2013, and a Matriculation in Physical Sciences from Johor Matriculation College between 2008 and 2009. In addition, they obtained a System Design-RTL Functional Design Using Verilog HDL certification from Dream Catcher in December 2013 and a Safety and Health Officer certification from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in September 2013.
