William Serkin has an extensive work experience in the field of research and development. William started as a Cell Line Development Scientist Co-Op at Pfizer in 2018, and then went on to work as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University Apfeld Lab later that year. In 2019, they joined Amgen as a Neuroscience R&D Co-Op, where they worked on neurodegenerative pathologies. In 2020, they became an International Scholar at VIB, focusing on genetic engineering and CRISPR-Cas9 technology. Currently, they are working at eGenesis, Inc. and has progressed from Research Associate I to Senior Research Associate and now Principal Research Associate. In addition to these roles, they also served as a Tutor for Fundamentals of Computer Science at Northeastern University College of Computer and Information Science from 2017 to 2020.
