Penny Arning

Penny Arning is an experienced attorney specializing in employment law, currently representing and advising employers at Egerton, McAfee, Armistead & Davis, P.C. since October 2019. Prior to this role, Penny served as a law clerk and staff attorney for the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Tennessee from 2009 to June 2019, where responsibilities included drafting revisions to local rules and advising on legal changes. Penny also has experience as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law, teaching Pretrial Litigation, and has held attorney positions at Kramer Rayson LLP and Kiesewetter Wise, focusing on labor, employment, and civil litigation matters. Penny holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Furman University.
