Glen Besen, CPA

Glen Besen, CPA has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Glen began their career in 1999 as Accounting Manager at Invision.com, Inc. where they managed a department of 3 and researched and discovered NYS sales tax exemptions. Glen was promoted to Controller in 2002 and restructured and organized the monthly close process from 90+ days down to 5. Glen also assisted the CFO through several financing rounds. In 2007, they joined mindSHIFT Technologies, Inc. as Divisional Controller, where they performed due diligence and managed all accounting functions for three acquisitions. In 2014, they moved to mindSHIFT Technologies, a Ricoh Company, as Controller and Co-Controller. In their role, they were responsible for the monthly financial close and reporting packages, prepared annual projections and detailed budgets, and implemented several value-added processes and reporting services. In 2020, they joined eGifter as Controller. In this role, they are responsible for developing software platforms for innovative eCommerce gifting solutions and gift card driven rewards and incentives programs.

Glen Besen, CPA obtained their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York College at Old Westbury in 1996. Glen also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University at Albany, SUNY in 1990. In addition, they are a Certified Public Accountant, certified by New York State.
