Dr. Elke Hofmann

Dr. Elke Hofmann serves as the Office Leader in Munich for Egon Zehnder, alongside co-leading the CEO & Board Advisory Practice in Germany and functioning as a consultant within the Global Industrial Practice since August 2017. Prior experience includes a diverse range of leadership roles at BP from April 2004 to April 2017, where Dr. Hofmann was instrumental in the Our Future program, downstream transformation, and biofuels strategies. Earlier career roles encompass positions at Butamax Advanced Biofuels LLC, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, and Deutsche Bank, contributing expertise in strategy, business development, and program management. Dr. Hofmann holds an applied economics doctorate from the University of Hohenheim and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
