Mai Y. Farag

Mai Y. Farag is an experienced professional in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences, currently serving as a Laboratory Specialist and Demonstrator at Galala University since April 2024, while also working as a Research Assistant in the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics Research Group at The German University in Cairo since November 2022. Additionally, Mai Y. Farag holds positions as a Research Assistant/Coordinator and Mentee at Egypt Scholars Inc. and has previously contributed as an R&D Specialist at EVA Cosmetics. With a solid educational background, including a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Greenwich and ongoing Master’s courses in Cell Biology, Histology, and Genetics from Cairo University, Mai Y. Farag has also gained teaching experience as a Biology Instructor and High School Biology and Chemistry Teacher. Earlier roles include undergraduate research positions at the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority and Stem Cell Bank, along with a customer service role at Vodafone.
