Yan Gao

Yan Gao has extensive experience in quality assurance and software testing. They are currently working as the Lead QA Engineer at ehsAI. Prior to this, they worked at xMatters, inc as a Senior QA Engineer for five years. They also have experience as a Senior Test Automation Engineer at UrtheCast, a Senior QA Engineer at Indochino, and a Software Development Engineer in Test at CA Technologies.

Additionally, Yan Gao has a strong background in project management, having worked as a Technical Lead at Infosys. They were responsible for managing the US Health Insurance - Wellpoint project. Before that, they worked as an Advanced Specialist SQA at BMW, where they implemented fully-automated QA solutions for BMW ConnectedDrive Lab.

Yan Gao has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

In terms of additional certifications, Yan Gao has obtained several certifications from Coursera. These include "Getting Started with MongoDB Atlas on Google Cloud" and "MongoDB Atlas with Natural Language API and Cloud Run" in April 2023, "Getting Started with Go" in February 2023, "Cypress API test automation for absolute beginners," "Cypress UI automation testing for absolute beginners," "Cypress end to end testing and intercepting network call," "How to create a Jira SCRUM project," and "Learn Cypress UI test automation with real-time scenarios" in March 2022.

Yan Gao also holds certifications in "Introduction to Golang - Basic Concepts" from Coursera in January 2022 and "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation," "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine," and "Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Coursera in July 2020. Additionally, Yan Gao has obtained certifications in "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)," "Python Data Structures," "Using Databases with Python," and "Using Python to Access Web Data" from Coursera in January 2018.
