Mamoun Alhamadsheh

Scientific co-Founder at Eidos Therapeutics

Mamoun Alhamadsheh has extensive experience in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. Mamoun started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Kevin Reynolds Lab at Portland State University in 2005. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Research Associate in the Gerald Crabtree Lab at Stanford University. In 2013, Mamoun co-founded Eidos Therapeutics, where they served as a Scientific co-Founder. Since 2011, they have been associated with the University of the Pacific, starting as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and progressing to Associate Professor. Currently, Mamoun holds the position of Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of the Pacific.

Mamoun Alhamadsheh completed their Bachelor's degree (Honors) in Pharmacy at Jordan University of Science and Technology from 1994 to 1999. Mamoun then pursued a Ph.D in Organic & Medicinal Chemistry at The University of Toledo, where they studied under the guidance of LMV Tillekeratne & Richard Hudson. This degree was obtained from 1999 to 2004. Finally, Mamoun Alhamadsheh attended Stanford University from 2008 to 2011 for a Postdoctoral degree in Chemical Biology.
