Vasile Granaci

Vasile Granaci has a diverse background in sales and business development, with a focus on technology companies. Vasile currently serves as the Regional Vice President of Artificial Intelligence Sales Strategy for EMEA at Eigen Technologies. In this role, Vasile is responsible for leveraging natural language processing and machine learning to analyze data for businesses. Prior to this, they worked as a Seed Investor at both Seedrs and Crowdcube, as well as an Angel Investor at CrossFund.

Vasile also has experience in the startup ecosystem, serving as a Board Member and Startup Mentor at Startup Moldova. In these pro bono roles, they help develop the tech startup and digital innovation ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova by designing and guiding policies and programs.

In terms of leadership positions, Vasile has held the role of Head of Sales EMEA at Oyster, where they led a team of 30 members and established a Mid-Market and Up-Market Sales Organization. Vasile was also the Vice President of EMEA Sales at MessageBird, leading a team of over 50 individuals and achieving over $100 million in annual recurring revenue.

Prior to their role at MessageBird, Vasile held multiple roles at ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok and BytePlus. As the Regional Director of EMEA & CIS, they played a crucial role in expanding ByteDance's presence in the region and introducing AI/ML technologies. Vasile successfully led Sales, Marketing, Product, and Presales teams to meet revenue and business objectives.

Vasile Granaci's education history begins in 2000 when they completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma in Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at the Romanian-German Lyceum "Mihail Kogalniceanu". From 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in International Law and Legal Studies at Universitatea de Stat din Moldova. Following this, in 2012-2013, Vasile Granaci obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2020, they received a Certificate of Achievement in LBTechX1: Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market from Harvard University.

Additionally, Vasile Granaci has obtained various certifications throughout their career. They received an edX Verified Certificate for Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market from Harvard University in November 2020.
