Carolyn Chandler

Carolyn Chandler has over a decade of experience in user experience design and product strategy. In 2014, they began working as the Director of Experience Design at Eight Bit Studios, managing a team of User Experience Strategists and Product Designers. Prior to this, they were an Independent Consultant at dhalo.com, providing services in product and service strategy & experience design, organizational development, and customer insights. In 2008, they coauthored A Project Guide to UX Design and Adventures in Experience Design for New Riders.

In 2015, Carolyn began working as a UX Instructor for Ascend Training and as the ACD, User Experience for Mira Fitness, designing systems that provide a delightful overall user experience for customers. Carolyn also served as a Guest Lecturer at the Kellogg School of Management and as the Chief Instructor at the School for Digital Craftsmanship.

In 2012, Carolyn was a UX Design Instructor at The Starter League, previously known as Code Academy, teaching the UX Design class in design thinking, user research, and interaction design. Carolyn also served on the executive board of Stage Left Theatre, holding the role of Secretary of the Board for two years. In 2006, they joined Manifest Digital as the User Experience Director, building the User Experience practice and growing a strong team of UX architects.

Carolyn Chandler completed their Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Honors from the University of Michigan between 1992 and 1996. In 1995, they attended the Spanish American Institute of International Education (SAIIE) to study Spanish and Organizational Psychology.
