Shruti Patil

Shruti Patil has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shruti started their career as a Software Intern at LightLine Software Inc in 2003. In 2004, they joined PayPal and worked as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer until 2007. From 2007 to 2018, they worked at YouTube, Google as a Software Engineer, where they played a key role in the development of the YouTube Kids app and worked on the Vitess database clustering project. Since 2018, Shruti has been with Eightfold, where they held various positions including Principal Engineer, Director of Engineering for Talent Management, and currently serves as the Senior Director of Engineering. Their work at Eightfold involves building a data-driven employment platform that is used by major employers across the world.

Shruti Patil attended the University of Cincinnati from 2001 to 2004 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Shruti then pursued a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in 2018, as well as a certification in "Machine Learning" from Stanford University on Coursera in 2016. The obtained month for the Machine Learning certification is January 2016.
