Brenda Pearson, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Strategic Policy Initiatives at the Clark County Education Association since January 2015 and has been a partner at HEROES To Education since August 2021, working to reduce barriers for veterans and their spouses in education careers. Brenda also holds an adjunct professor position at Touro University Nevada, teaching doctoral level courses in the College of Education, and has been involved as a Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada since March 2022, advocating for foster children. Additionally, Brenda serves as a Volunteer Educational Decision Maker for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, appointed by Nevada courts to make educational decisions for children in foster care. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
