María Björk Einarsdóttir

María Björk Einarsdóttir's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked as a Financial Advisor at Íslandsbanki hf. María Björk then moved on to GAMMA Capital Management in 2013, where they served as a Real Estate Specialist until 2014.

In 2014, María became the CEO of Almenna leigufélagið ehf., the second-largest privately owned home rental company in Iceland. In this role, they managed the company and led two significant acquisitions, worth $190 million (including debt), as well as a major refinancing through a listed bond issue. María Björk held this position until September 2021.

In September 2021, María joined Eimskip as the Chief Financial Officer, where they currently hold the position. Additionally, starting from March 2023, they became a Board Member at Kaldalón.
