Ellen Keenan-O'Malley

Ellen Keenan-O'Malley is a Senior Associate at EIP since January 2023 and a member of the SCL Junior Lawyers Committee as of September 2023. Previously, Ellen held various legal positions at BNP Paribas from September 2014 to January 2023, including Digital and IP Lawyer, IP & IT Legal Counsel, and Trainee Solicitor. Notably, Ellen completed a litigation seat in the General Disputes Team at Herbert Smith Freehills in mid-2018. Ellen's legal career began as a Foreign Law Clerk and Public Services Manager at Reavis Page Jump LLP from September 2011 to August 2014, where responsibilities included managing pro bono initiatives and hosting legal panel events. Earlier in Ellen's career, involvement in the English National Opera occurred in 2004 as a Chorus Member. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB Honours) degree from the University of Aberdeen, a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Oxford, and a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School. Additional studies were undertaken at the University of Cambridge in 2018.
