Marie-Elisabeth Rusling

Marie-Elisabeth Rusling has extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. Marie-Elisabeth is currently the Head of Public Affairs at EIT Food since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) as an Ambassador, EIC Women Leadership Program Mentor, and Expert External Evaluator. Marie-Elisabeth also served as the Director at AURA srl - Management services & IR, where they focused on corporate & EU affairs, institutional relations, and investor relations. Marie-Elisabeth was an Associate at LOWeurope and served as a Member of Advisory Group EIC Programme Management at the European Commission. Marie-Elisabeth was also a Member of Stakeholders' Advisory Group at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Marie-Elisabeth has held various positions at Business Angels Europe, including Board Member and Independent Counsel/CEO. Marie-Elisabeth also served as the Director of European Affairs at the Assembly of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry - CCI FRANCE, where they represented the organization to the European institutions. Additionally, they were a Board Member of CCI France Belgique. Earlier in their career, they worked at EUROCHAMBRES as the Director of Institutional & Corporate Affairs, where they managed services to members, handled institutional affairs and corporate communications, and was responsible for staff recruitment and training.

Marie-Elisabeth Rusling earned their Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Diplômé des grandes écoles de commerce - Diplomkauffrau, from ESCP Business School. Marie-Elisabeth attended from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they pursued their Masters in lettres / langues with a focus on Littérature comparée at Université La Sorbonne Paris-IV from 1986 to 1988.
