Marja-Liisa Meurice

Marja-Liisa Meurice is the current Director of EIT Food North-East. Marja-Liisa has over 20 years of experience in improving innovation capabilities for organizations with a focus on service innovations. Marja-Liisa has also worked as an independent consultant and operations and program manager for the European Industrial Research Management Association (EIRMA). In their role as a program manager, they were responsible for planning the content and organization of member programs, which included 18 events and meetings per year. Marja-Liisa has also monitored trends in business-led R&D and innovation and managed the reporting of meeting outcomes to member organizations.

Marja-Liisa Meurice has a MBA from ESSEC Business School in International Hospitality Business Management, a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Hospitality Management from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, and a Baccalauréat from Mäkelänrinteen Lukio.

They are on a team with Begoña Pérez-Villarreal - Director, EIT Food South, Georg Schirrmacher - Director, EIT Food Central, and Jayne Brookman - Director, EIT Food North-West. Marja-Liisa Meurice reports to Andy Zynga, CEO.
