Lucia K.

Lucia K. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Lucia is currently working as a Data Solutions Engineer at EIVEE™ since September 2022. Previously, they worked at the World Energy Council from January 2020 to September 2020, first as a Contractor - Senior Manager / Data Analyst and then as a Senior Manager / Data Analyst. At the World Energy Council, their responsibilities included project management, data analysis, and providing insights for the World Energy Trilemma Index reports. Before that, Lucia worked as a Software Engineer at Signal Noise (part of The Economist Group) from March 2018 to December 2019, and as a Front End Engineer at QuantumBlack from July 2016 to February 2018. Lucia also gained experience as a Student Researcher at Lexical Computing Ltd from September 2014 to June 2016, where they collaborated on a Master thesis and implemented interactive visualizations for Sketch Engine. Additionally, Lucia worked as a Freelance Front-end developer and Graphic designer from January 2014 to June 2016. Their early experience includes working as a Specialist and Assistant of the head of department at the Natural Language Processing Centre, Faculty of Informatics Masaryk University from March 2012 to April 2016, as well as an internship at the University of Bergen from August 2015 to December 2015.

Lucia K. began their education at Lime House School in 2008, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Sixth Form - AS level. Lucia then went on to attend Masaryk University Brno from 2010 to 2013, completing their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Informatics. Continuing their studies, Lucia pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Informatics at the same university from 2013 to 2015. Finally, from 2015 to 2016, Lucia completed their education at Masaryk University Brno with a Ph.D. in Informatics specializing in Visualization.
