Manikanda Prabhu

Manikanda Prabhu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Manikanda started their career in 2012 as an Assistant at the Confederation of Indian Industry, where they handled scheduling conferences, training programs, and delegating promotions and sponsorships. Manikanda worked there until 2015.

From 2015 to 2016, Manikanda served as an Assistant Manager at the Internet and Mobile Association of India. In this role, they developed goals and action plans for membership development and retention, analyzed existing programmatic and membership materials, and developed a strategic plan to expand the corporate sponsorship program.

In 2016, Manikanda joined the Global Mobile App Summit & Awards as an Assistant Manager - Events. Manikanda successfully managed multi-million-dollar budget projects in the SEA region, planned and executed multiple conferences per year in various regions, and generated revenue through sponsorship, space selling, and delegate promotion. Manikanda worked there until 2018.

In 2018, Manikanda co-founded Way2Biz and served as the Head of Events and Marketing. Manikanda developed and implemented marketing and event plans, acted as a strategic partner for clients, and organized startup events in various cities. Manikanda held this position until 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, Manikanda worked as the Manager Lead Nurturing & Events Marketing at Texila American University Consortium. Here, they were responsible for managing lead nurturing and events marketing initiatives.

In 2022, Manikanda joined Mtandt Group as a Marketing Manager. Manikanda held this position until the end of the year.

Currently, Manikanda is working at Ekaa Hrim Earth Resources Management as both a Marketing Business Development Manager and HR Manager, starting in March 2023.

Manikanda Prabhu completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Software Engineering-Integrated from Anna University Chennai, from 2007 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from Alagappa University, Alagappa Nagar, Karaikudi, between 2012 and 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Manikanda Prabhu has obtained several certifications. Manikanda completed a course on "Recruiting, Hiring, and Onboarding Employees" from the University of Minnesota in January 2022. In December 2020, they completed "The Complete Digital Marketing Course" from Udemy. Manikanda Prabhu also obtained certifications in "Youtube SEO" from Udemy in April 2020, and "Inbound Marketing" from HubSpot Academy in November 2021. Most recently, in August 2022, they became a certified administrator for LeadSquared through LeadSquared's certification program.
