Shahbaz Salaria

Shahbaz Salaria has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Shahbaz is currently a Sales Director at Ekinops since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Director at CommScope from August 2015 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for formulation and execution of strategic account plans for Tier 1 Canadian telecom carriers and recovery of Tier 2 market base with channel and partner enablement. Before joining CommScope, Shahbaz was a National Account Manager at TE Connectivity from December 2011 to August 2015. Shahbaz started their career as a Senior Account Manager at ADC in 1999 and worked there until 2011. Prior to that, they were a Regional Sales Manager at DAFOTEL INC. from July 1996 to November 1998. Shahbaz also has experience as an Engineering Officer, Flt. Lt. in the Indian Air Force from March 1988 to July 1994.

Shahbaz Salaria has a diverse education history. In 1988, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a Telecom Major from Aligarh University in India. In 1993, they obtained a Diploma in Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University in India, specializing in Business Management. Moving forward, in 2003, they pursued further education in the United States, completing a program in Target Account Selling at Siebel eBusiness. Finally, in 2014, Shahbaz attended the Schulich School of Business at York University in Canada to complete an Executive Program in Sales Management.
